The property is northeast of Winchester, in the area of Shockeysville.  The land is private, but not really secluded.  You feel that you are deep in the woods, but there are neighbors close by. There is plenty of wildlife in the area. I understand the hunting is fantastic (deer, turkey) The area is known as Ritter Mountain, but there are no restrictions and covenants that apply.  The road (Files Chapel Rd) deadends at the property. Maintenance of this road is by voluntary contribution from the neighbors. Walk down the back of the land, across the stream, and up to the top of the next ridge.  The land flattens out beautifully on this side of the stream, and has tall hardwoods. All four corners are clearly marked. Make an appointment and I will happy to meet you at the land and point out the features. This is Lot 14 in Section 3, of Ritter Mountain, Winchester, Va. 22603. Annual real estate taxes are $151. The property is about 1/2 hour from Winchester. Priced well at $89,900.  The MLS# is FV7056626.                                      The best directions to the property from Winchester are: Rt.522 N at the 37 Bypass, turn onto Apple Pie Ridge Rd.  Drive approximately 4 miles to the White Hall intersection (4 way stop).  Make a left on Greenspring Rd., and drive 7.4 miles. Make a right onto Shockeysville Rd. (gravel), and drive 2.6 miles.  Just before the small white church and graveyard, make a left onto Files Chapel Rd.  Follow Files Chapel a short distance, stay to right at first V. The road appears to end, but a nice path is cut to continue.  At the bottom of this first little hill, you will see the beginning corner post on your left. (You would have passed the last neighbor on the left.) At the bottom, the driveway needs a culvert, so be careful if you are in 2WD car.  Continue up and around and you will see my sign posted at a clearing, on your left.  This is the center of the land. The stream isn't visible, but walk to the back of the land to view the stream, downhill.  Ask me for a plat!
